Khan said: “Some politicians spoke to me and they were very frank and said: This court was built for Africa, and for thugs like Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is what one of the senior politicians told me.”
He added: "We will not be deterred by threats or any other activities, because in the end we have to fulfill our responsibilities as prosecutors, as men and women in office, as judges, and as a registry of something bigger than ourselves, which is devotion to justice."
